weekend of 100,000 ninjas

last weekend molly and i had a crazy good time at the mountainside in park city with myke & julie, james, and dave & zel & baby. our original endeavor was to play at least once every unique card/board game we owned collectively. i think we managed about 35% of that.

transamerica was the first game of the weekend, not long at all after arriving.

having been instructed by boo the cat to bring home a full account of the weekend’s proceedings, poster oversees a well played game of attica.

late friday night, myke wins a game of carcassonne.

saturday morning someone on the fourth floor burned some toast. we found this out of course after the fire alarms and evacuation had already taken place. exciting vacation so far.

molly saves poster from the “fire.” we imagine the plot of the game burglar.

i win my first game of domaine.

killing french nobles never was so much fun.

fare wars is clearly the way to win this game.

o’er the ramparts we watch!

molly and myke were the winners of this one (we played twice). so here’s a question, why are german game makers so fixated on the italian renaissance?

twonky has had better days.
